Tetra Surveys - Project Management
<< Back to Tetra Surveys
Tetra Survey’s proven track record of ongoing project success with numerous
companies can be attributed in part to sound project management. Maximization of
resources and productivity is critical on large projects; Tetra uses proprietary
tools to track projects through their lifecycle of development by using powerful resource
management capabilities that allow assessment of resource efficiency and activity
across large projects by accurately and consistently tracking workload and use.
Project deadlines and budgets are monitored in an organized fashion using the
built-in functionality of its in house web based software, allowing Tetra to
accurately assess and report project status at any time.
Our technologies give the survey team and its clients a previously unrealized
advantage over its prior Owner/Vendor contracts by employing a web-based access
to real-time business-critical project data, allowing unparalleled participation
across the construction process allowing Tetra to record, assign, and resolve
issues within a central repository of knowledge, keeping the Owner and Vendor
in the loop at all times.

Project Workflow
Construction is an ever-evolving process, and with multiple contractors working
from many different angles, the process of managing and scheduling is critical to
keeping a project on time and under budget. Through many years of surveying experience,
Tetra has learned the benefit of keeping a production manager on staff. In short,
production management is the process of tracking and assembling the many individual
elements that comprise the act of land surveying, while integrating this singular
function into the entire construction project. Tetra’s production manager tracks
office and individual process and progress, while incorporating scheduling and scope
changes into an accurate final deliverable. Every process, task, schedule and change
component is documented within cvlTracker’s web-based repository for future organization
and accountability. The production manager directs all of this, and is a critical part of
the surveying process, guiding the team from the ground while administering the project from above.
Land Surveying services, including both accurate and efficient field and office work,
is an indispensable professional service that ensures client’s development initiatives
are completed accurately. Whether land is being subdivided, or designated for new construction
and/or improvements, an accurate survey discloses true boundary lines and physical land features.
Special attention to the design phase, including exhaustive requirements gathering and
determination of project scope is critical to the initial phase of land surveying, a portion
of the project often overlooked by many survey companies. During a project’s early phases
of development, Tetra’s team of qualified field personnel, overseen by the staff Registered
Professional Land Surveyor, strategically monitor the daily activities of client contractors
to ensure work is performed to survey specifications and established industry standards.
The creation and execution of a specific project plan founded upon solid requirements and
goal based objectives is critical to the success of any project, surveying is no different.
Tetra utilizes a specific methodology, to ensure project success every time.
